I feel officially inducted into country life.

We went off to Grandma Joy's Stickhorse Rodeo, and the boys had a blast!

Each participant got a handkerchief and a number:

Giant #170

Ettin #169 (he is playing with grass seed in this photo ; )  )

Galoot #168

They started with a pep talk about trying their best and working hard. Then they sang O Canada and got to work!

There was sheep untie-ing

Dummy roping:

And lots more!

My bigger boys were put to the test trying new things, but they did well.

And my little ones learned a lot about patience:

Family Marathon

Where to start a blog? So many pictures, memories, and fun have been captured and are calling for their story to be told. They are not the stuff of best sellers, but they are the story of our lives and demand to be shared, nevertheless. So, here we go. Let's start with a journey...

A journey of 26.2 miles, to be exact.

Our town is amazing. And I think what makes it that way is the fantastic people that populate it!
A family committed to inspiring others to become healthier one step at a time, started the "Cardston Kids Marathon". To complete the marathon, participants walk or run 25 miles on their own, and then gather together for the final mile. I loved working together on a big goal with my family, and one that encouraged us to be active was especially fun. At the end of the final mile, healthy lunches and water bottles were provided. We celebrated the race and the good weather together with friends.
